The Future of Information Society and
Challenges for Good Governance

GOALS OF THE 11th BLED FORUM ON EUROPE FORESIGHT CONFERENCE:

  • to contribute to the further advancement of future oriented and knowledge based good governance in the world, in Europe and particularly in South Eastern Europe

  • to identify some of the key challenges in the future development of Information Society and put forward internationally coordinated responses to the identified challenges

    to present examples of good practice in policy making and utilisation of foresight results

  • to organise foresight capacity building workshop (Western Balkan Futures) and facilitate networking and mutual learning and

    to further develop a comprehensive view for Information Society development in South Eastern Europe (post‐Malmo and eSEE Agenda +)
